This site is built to the W3C standards for website authoring. If you can read this (and you are using a graphics-enabled browser), your browser is probably not standards-compliant and so, while the content will still be perfectly readable, the layout on this page will probably look a bit weird. If at all possible you should consider using a standards-compliant browser. I seriously recommend Mozilla Firefox. It's fully standards-compliant - and best of all, it's free!
Opening with 'Whatever Happened' - a broadside against an erstwhile comrade whose old poster of Che Guevara "wouldn't look too good in the house he lives in now" - Scotland's premier political singer/songwriter adds half a dozen more songs from his red pen, including a put-down of the late Pastor Jack Glass, then a guitar instrumental, a song by Jim Page in memory of a murdered Native American activist, and the simple and enduringly beautiful Glasgow traditional love song 'The Bleacher Lass O Kelvinhaugh'. There's a big orchestral arrangement in 'Come Gie's A Sang', but isn't it interesting that now, as Springsteen is diving into the Tom Paxton songbook, Gaughan is signing off celebrating another lifestyle in 'We Got The Rock'n'Roll'?
